出生於台東縣 ，已婚，一子一女。奧勒岡州立大學 物理博士 (美國 )、中原大學 物理學士、台南一中 (台南市)、卑南國中 (台東縣)、富岡國小 (台東縣)。

研究領域：

實驗固態物理、 非線性動力學、 天文學、大氣電學
