【Bachelor Announcement】Rebuilding regulations of compulsory courses: General Chemistry (1) (2) and Calculus (1) (2) of Department of Physics 【June 7, 2022 revised version】
Original regulations:
General Chemistry (1) (2) and Calculus (1) (2): Only those who have taken the course twice in normal semester study of Department of Physics and failed can take courses with the same name, content, and credits in foreign departments to credit compulsory courses: General Chemistry (1) (2) and Calculus (1) (2).
Revised to:
General Chemistry (1) (2) and Calculus (1) (2): Only those who have taken the course once in normal semester study of Department of Physics and failed can take courses with the same name, content, and credits in foreign departments to credit compulsory courses: General Chemistry (1) (2) and Calculus (1) (2).
** PLEASE NOTE: Definition of Normal semester study
According to the rules of on-campus course selection, during Fall or Spring semester, if you take courses and attend the classes normally, but failed. You are allowed to take General Chemistry (1) (2) and Calculus (1) (2) from foreign departments on the second and the following times.
Example: Classmate A
● First semester of freshman year: Took General Chemistry (1) from Department of Physics. Took courses and attend the classes normally, but failed, the second General Chemistry (1) can be taken in a foreign department or summer study in a foreign department.
● Second semester of freshman year: Did not take General Chemistry (2) from Department of Physics. missed classes, or dropped out, etc. Would not meet the Normal semester study situation, and General Chemistry(2) must still be taken from the Department of Physics first.
