1. The Compelling Force Scholarship aim to encourage students to participate in activities organized by bilingual programs. Upon accumulating 8 Compelling Force points, students can apply for the following 6 types of subsidies, up to a maximum of 5000 NT dollars per item:
   (1) Visa application fees (excluding tourist visas)
   (2) Application fees for admission to foreign universities
   (3) Registration fees for off-campus and online English courses
   (4) Conference registration fees for presenting papers in English
   (5) Registration fees for international competitions involving presentations, discussions, or dissertations in English
   (6) Subsidies for internships in foreign companies

2. The amount of Compelling Force points will be announced at each Bilingual activity. After recording the points, students can check them on the 'KUAP' APP.

3. The application is open to local students only (including undergraduate, graduate, and in-service programs).

4. The scholarship will be directly issued by the Bilingual Center after review and does not utilize the department's bilingual funding quota. However, due to limited funds, applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, and submissions will cease once the funds are depleted.

5. As the bilingual funds come from the Ministry of Education, the same subsidy item cannot be duplicated through an application to the Ministry of Education's funding. However, if the same item is concurrently supported by funding from the National Science Council or other sources, please inform the applicant to mark this in the application form.

6. The endorsement section below the application form were revised to include endorsements from the Bilingual Center coordinator and the Director of Academic Affairs. Students should directly apply to the Bilingual Center.

7. The departmental endorsement stamp on the declaration form will be removed; a signature from the applicant will suffice.

8. For the application process, refer to section 6, item 4 of the incentive principles. Applicants should submit the Application Form and Declaration Form (Attachment 1) first, and submit the report after passing the first phase of review.

9. Applications for the Compelling Force Scholarship do not require departmental approval. Departments are kindly asked to announce and disseminate this information, encouraging eligible students to apply."
